Taste of India has raised several thousand pounds for the army Veteran Fund, Chelsea Pensioners. Recently Mr Karim was honoured during a Gala, at the Army Officers Mess in Aldershot.

Luthful Karim has held many events over the years for local and international charities. Below are just a couple of snippets from press articles published.

"A restauraunt owner was inspired to hold a charity gala dinner after reading about the daring skydive by news reporters Sara Laichbury and Sarah-Jane Wakefield. Luthful Karim, owner of the Taste of India in Ash Vale, served a six course buffet dinner for £14.95 a head at his restaurant. which raised a total of £1,000 for The Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust."
