Surrey Heath Coalition Against Poverty

Taste of India is involved with the coalition for the eradication of poverty. Proprietor Mr Karim is a founding member of the movement which annually marks the United Nations Day (17th October) which focuses on raising awareness about local, national and global poverty.

Make Poverty History Campaign

Taste of India proprietor Luthful Karim is one of the founding members of the Camberley based branch of the campaign.

Since 2005 with the help of various local groups, schools and church leaders the campaign is gathering momentum. The aim is to increase awareness about poverty, globaly and here in the UK. Taste of India has been sponsering the food etc. during various campaign events.
