Water Well Project

Bangladesh has got too much water but no drinking water! This project draws 2,000 litres of water daily from underground, filtered and supplied through appx. 5, 000 feet network of pipelines with 50 stand taps around the village.

LOCATION
Village: Nimadhal North, Golapgonj
District: Sylhet, Bangladesh
     

Total number of dwellings in the village: 36 of which -

·  Only six brick building
·  0nly two of the six have running water.
·  Appx. Half have no electricity
·  0nly one has bottled gas cooking facility. The rest use straw or     wood chippings as fuel.
·  0nly five have proper sanitation.
·  The rest are bamboo huts or half brick built with straw roofs.
